Students' Pathway to Success
College and Career Readiness require more than just a high school diploma. Being "college ready" means that a high school graduate has the knowledge and skills in English and Mathematics necessary to qualify for and succeed in entry-level, credit-bearing coursework or training without remediation Being "career ready" means being prepared for a career, not just a job. A career offers the opportunity to advance and develop professionally.
As a Transition Counselor, I will facilitate students' transition to high school by helping them select an endorsement and a career cluster in order to meet the HB5 Graduation Requirements and to explore post-secondary options. Students and parents should begin exploring and planning for high school, college, and career by accessing the resources provided.
